Girl Guides
Guides are a youth organisation that is just for girls. We were started over 100 years ago by the founder of Scouts, as the girl version, and continue today to offer girls a place where they can make new friends, have fun, try new experiences and make memories. Our unit meet weekly during term times, and each week have different activities, such as games, crafts, outings out, cooking and also go on sleepovers and camping. Our girls are aged 10-14, but there is also a Brownie unit at the centre for girls aged 7-10.
DATE & TIME:
Weekly on Wednesday day at 5-8pm time.
“I taught a class here. The centre is clean and nice and has good facilities. The real star of this organisation, however, is the staff. The staff are extremely dedicated and genuinely care about being an important part of the community. A valuable asset to the local community.”
